The 2023 Food and Agriculture Industries Economic Impact Study included a deeper dive into the data on a more granular county level. County-level data is not updated annually, but periodically as needed. Our most recent county-level data is for the year 2023.
County-level data affords deeper analysis in rural areas, often more economically dependent on the food and agriculture sector. The addition of this county-level impact analysis provides a greater measure of visibility of the economic importance of American food and agriculture, particularly as Congress considers a new Farm Bill.
